Thinking caps for helping hands.

Creativity makes us tick. Especially when it helps others. That’s why we’re launching the “Give Us a Hand” initiative. Together, we’ve combined our knowledge in design, project management, creative problem solving and bioengineering to provide 3D-printed prosthetics for children, adults and animals in need.

Our designs will be made available to all, and updated as new technologies are developed. Stay tuned for more info.

Why?

In many South American countries, people become amputees because of Diabetes. However, while that is also true in Colombia, a large number of people have lost appendages due to the violent history. As such, the prosthetics will be 100% donated to the people in the area and other areas of the country. Aside from prosthetics for people, we will design (along with open source) prosthetics for animals.

The AGILE IMAGINU!TY Twist

The prosthetics will be made primarily using 3D printers and laser cutters. This non-profit will work with a local that will, with the artistic inspiration of McNair Wilson, our in-house second generation Disney Imagineer, to design unique, art inspired 3D printed prosthetics. This artistic addition will push our designs to become human friendly, and force us to not focus solely on the number of bionics printed, but on the human element needed.
